Our Project

The Liberated Woman: Mask Off is a powerful anthology for women who are tired of pretending, shrinking, and carrying the weight of who the world told them they had to be. Within the pages, these liberated women share raw and honest stories of breaking free from people-pleasing, perfectionism, silence, trauma, fear, and the pressure to always “have it together.”

This book is for the woman who has spent years wearing masks to survive while secretly feeling disconnected from herself. The woman who is ready to stop performing and start living authentically, boldly, and unapologetically. Through personal stories of pain, awakening, healing, and transformation, women will discover they are not alone in their journey. Each chapter offers real-life experiences, wisdom, and practical takeaways to help women begin removing the masks that have kept them stuck, exhausted, and unseen. By the end of this book, women will feel empowered to embrace their truth, reclaim their voice, prioritize themselves without guilt, and step into a life of freedom, confidence, peace, and liberation.

Because the most powerful woman is not the one pretending to be perfect… She’s the one courageous enough to finally live with her mask off.

The Why & The Timeline

I had the honor and privilege of being a part of my first anthology project in 2016. When I tell you that I was scared, scared of what people would think of me when they learned parts of my story, afraid of what the person, who I wrote about, would think or say if he found out; there was a lot keeping me stuck. However, the wonderful visionary, Cheryl Holland, gave me the confidence to believe in myself, to trust that everything would be alright; that writing is a form of healing, and to trust my gut (intuition). So, I boldly said yes, and the rest as they say is history! Since 2016, I've collaborated in over 20 anthology projects. Yes, over 20, and I'm not stopping.

Fast forward to 2022 when it was dropped in my spirit to create my own works. I prayed about it, talked to a couple of trusted individuals, and I launched my first project: In Pursuit of Fearless Living: Pivoting from Life's Uncertainties. Since 2022 I've had the honor of bringing forth four collaborative projects, three solo books (two are affirmation/mindset books, and the other is in Spanish). Writing heals, writing empowers, writing inspires, writing opens doors.

Throughout my projects, I've met women who've desired to write but for one reason or another hesitate. My hope and desire is to provide a way to create first time authors, and to help established authors to add to their legacy. I've had the honor of working with over 50 women, worldwide, in bringing their stories to life and sharing them with the world. Not everyone that has experienced trauma, adversity, or overcome obstacles, is meant to be a writer. However, there is a small population that is; and there courage, healing, and strength will help others in their journey.
